Helpful Reading and Math Websites

Are you looking for ways to reinforce the skills your child learned this year? Here are some great resources.

Reading 

This site provides reading comprehension selections for both informational and fictional text.  The articles range from kindergarten through eighth grade reading levels.  The passages are also categorized by Lexile reading levels. The questions following the reading selections focus on a number of skills. You will need to become a member but there is no charge.  

 

The following websites provide reinforcement for math skills. The first two sites focus primarily on calculation skills. The third and fourth site focuses on not only calculation skills but concepts and application as well.  Mathnook has a wide variety of games for all levels.
