    My belief is every child can succeed!  The education process is a partnership between the teacher, parent and child.  I am  there to support your child along the educational journey.  Some days the road can be smooth and some days the road can be a bit bumpy.  Hopefully, I can make the journey a bit smoother.

    		Hobbies, Interests:

    I love outside activities.  I enjoy walking, swimming, biking and cross country skiing.

    I enjoy reading mystery novels.

    An ideal night would be dinner followed by a play with my husband.

    My favorite city is New Orleans.  My husband and I travel there every 2-3 years for the food and music.







    Academic Degrees:

    B.A.  Secondary Education with a major in History

    M.A.  Special Education with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities

    Training in Orton Gillingham, SLANT, and Lindamood Bell.


    Mrs. Sutton reads to first grade as the guest reader.



    		Fun Fact

    I came to S. Luke School in the fall of 1991.  My favorite days are when former students return to visit or their parents call to give me updates.  To hear their accomplishments, gladdens my  heart!
