About Speech Team

The award winning St. Luke School Speech Team is open to all students in grades five through eight.  The goal of the club is to help students become confident orators through individual and group performances and competitions that improve their articulation, fluency, pace, and expression in delivery of prose, poetry, declamation, original oratory, and dramatic presentation.  The Team competes in two major competitions and one practice competition each year.  It's fun, exciting, and challenging. For the 2021-22 school year, interested students will tryout for the Team or Club level of participation.

Students in grades 5 through 8 are welcome to tryout.
