Incoming 1st and 2nd Grades
Students are required to read a minimum of ten books over the summer to meet the challenge of ten books for ten decades! Use the reading log to record the titles of the books you read. Let’s keep READING all summer long!

Assignment: Write a 3-4 sentence summary for each chapter. Then write a prediction of what will happen next.
Incoming 4th Grade
Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume
Assignment: Read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume over the summer. We will be doing activities related to the book to start off our year. Additionally, all students need to bring headphones that can be plugged into their chromebooks on the first day of school.
Incoming 5th Grade
Wonder by R.J. Palacio
Assignment: Read the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio over the summer. Students should purchase the novel Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea; this book should not be read over the summer. In addition, all students should have headphones that can be plugged into their Chromebook for the first day of school.
