I am looking forward to working with your child this year.  I am excited to begin this journey through fifth grade. 

A few topics we will initially be learning about include: the meaning of worship, number operations and algebraic expressions, story structure and point of view, early American culture and history, and understanding cells as a basic unit of life.

 Some of our daily routines will include: incorporating math manipulatives, guided reading, writer's workshop, analyzing primary sources, and weekly science labs and investigations.
